Grey River Campsite
Basic camping in a pocket of native forest next to the Grey River. A loop track leads to the Mount Grey summit. There is also a short nature walk and an old possumers' hut to visit.

Getting there
|
From Amberley, take Douglas Road and Cramptons Bush Road. Watch for logging trucks. The road may be closed at times of high fire risk. Contact NZ Private Fire Services Ltd +64 27 480 9279. The ford over the Grey River becomes impassable after heavy rain.
