This short walk has no distinct character, but could form part of a long circuit if combined with the Peripatus Track and some road walking.
From the car park at the end of Christian Road, follow the sealed service road to the filter station. The track starts on the left just after the seal runs out. It is discreetly signposted.
The slippery track climbs over muddy roots onto a kauri ridge. It levels off near the road and comes out on Scenic Drive. The Waitakere Dam car park is just to the south, while the Peripatus and Anderson Tracks are a few minutes' walk to the north.
