Number 1 dam on the Mangahao River
Taken from the Puketurua Ridge. The ridge is accessed from Baber Forks where College Creek and Baber Creek join. The first 20 minutes are very steep and overgrown but then the ridge is easy to follow all the way to the main Ngapuketurua Ridge

bmackz I was along the Puketurua tops from Burn hut to Herepai and the track junction from Baber Forks was anything but obvious in fact not sure we spottedit. Good to hear (and see) it's being used.
