This photo is taken from the site marked on the topo map where a rock bivy is supposed to exist. It doesn't. Not here at least. There's camping down on the grassy bits in the lower right corner instead. The head of the Fraser is full of thick belts of scrub on both sides of the river. Best travel is to be had in the river but its white water all the way and slow going negotiating waterfalls and numerous crossings. Fraser Col is up to the left.
