10 minutes from the summit of Mount Pirongia in the Pirongia forest park about 30kms West of Hamilton. Sleeps six but could take 8 to 10 at a squeeze. Very clean and tidy good water and toilet with an outstanding view.

Several tracks access this area a good one and half day walk would be via the Tirohanga-Mahaukura track circit. Good views of the waikato and west coast. Wet and sloppy track at top end of Mahaukura track |
