Locked sole-occupancy hut on the Orongorongo River. The hut must be booked in advance.
The hut has a gas cooker, utensils, pots, pans, crockery, flush toilet, and even a wetback for hot showers! Lighting, toilet paper, matches not supplied.
A "bush cabin" - book at the ranger's station at the entrance to the park. Ford the river about 150 metres down-river from the bridge over the Turere Stream.
