Jans Hut
Rimutaka Forest Park
A "bush cabin" - book at the ranger's station at the entrance to the park. Ford the river straight over from the end of the Orongorongo Track and walk upriver about 100 metres. A small gap in the bush reveals a path heading steeply up to the hut. If you miss it then there is a marked "back door" track further up the river.
