A ramshackle shelter located on Agony Island near St Winifred Hut. Currently, the hut is suitable for shelter if the Havelock River is up and uncrossable. A cairned track leads up to the hut.

The hut is owned by the Canterbury Mountaineering Club, who plan to do further work on it.
