Forest and Bird House

A sole-occupancy lodge on Matiu / Somes Island in Wellington Harbour. The house was built as part of a maximum security quarantine station in 1969.

3 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, gas cooking, lighting, limited electricity, gas BBQ, solar shower and bath. Pillows provided, but no other bedding. No heating or lighting.
