Hobbs Bivvyrock, Routeburn North Branch

This hut was merged with the rock bivouac, Hobbs Bivvy, Route Burn North Branch, 29 August 201729 August.

To undo the merge, view the revision history and edit the previous version.

A dry and sheltered bivvy underneath a giant boulder in the north branch of the Routeburn. Sleeps 4 or 5 but with only about half a metre of clearance underneath its crawling room only.

There's a stream bed right beside the biv but that was quite dry in early Feb. Possibly holds water at other times in the year but otherwise the nearest water is from the river a couple of hundred metres away.
