Lake Man biv

The track in from SH7 via the Doubtful is well signposted so there shouldn't be any problems. Times on the signs were accurate. From SH7 to Doubtful hut 2 hrs, Doubtful hut to Kedron river 1 hr, Kedron to the biv 2 hrs. We tried to access Lake Man from the saddle above the biv (as we were heading out via the tops). Probably best to go via the traditional route from the biv as the ridge was a bit hairy in places and was hard work to sidle round the difficult bits. Having said that it wouldn't be impossible for those fit and confident enough.
