The hut that was transformed into the "new" Mt Brown hut 2009
This pic shows the "old" Lower Arahura hut a few months before it was dismantled and flown up to Mt Brown ridge to be re-used in the "new" Mt Brown hut.

Honora Good on ya for showcasing this awesome award-winning project. West Coast DoC and the community are to be commended for this one.
Seems that a leaf was taken out of the West Coast DoC's where a hut was virtually gutted and rebuilt to bypass red tape!
