Lake Alabaster from the North

Lake Alabaster from the North

Taken from the Northern head of the lake looking South. 3 hours of wading in the lake awaits to reach Alabaster hut. Don't even bother trying to bushbash. The Eastern bush of the lake is steep and a sea of steeplejack vines. The one time I left the lake to climb around a deep patch I spent half an hour advancing maybe 20 metres.
