Pinnacles Hut (Coromandel)
Coromandel Forest Park
Situated in the Kauaeranga Valley on the Coromandel Peninsula, this is New Zealand's largest hut, with 80 bunks.
Aside from standard facilities, this hut offers solar lighting, a cold shower, gas cookers and a barbecue. A warden is present at all times.

Head 2km south of Thames on SH25, then turn right on ot the Kauaranga Valley Road. Follow all the way to the road end where there is a carpark. |
