Dog Box Hut
Eyre Mountains/Taka Rā Haka Conservation Park
Historic musterers' hut built around 1916 by Fairlight Station. The Autumn muster led up the Mataura River to Beech Hut, then over the range to Dog Box Hut, and back down the Eyre River. Overnight accommodation prohibited.
