Duck Pond Hut
Ruahine Forest Park
A 2-bunk hut on private land, just outside the Ruahine forest park. This hut lies in the upper reaches of the Ngamoko catchment.
The hut is spacious for a 2-bunker - standing room and a bench down one side. There's no fire, and the roof as been leaking 'like a sieve' for at least 8 years.
The hut is not shown on topo maps but lies within 50m of the pond from which it takes it's name.
