Locke Stream (No. 4) Hut

Arthur's Pass National Park

Once known as No. 4 Hut, this hut was build in 1939 as a tourist hut for the Harper Pass Track. The hut has been recently renovated, but retains its historic character. Wood-panelled walls, a large stone fireplace with plenty of room to dry wet clothes (handy). 2 bedrooms separate to the kitchen - room for the 20-or-so parties who pass this way each year!
