A remote 4-bunk hut in the Eyre Mountains in Ashton Burn. The hut sits on a terrace 100m above the river and is mainly reached by climbing the 1330m peak behind Upper Oreti Hut rather than pushing through the tight Ashton valley. A good route climbs behind the hut crossing to the Upper Windley, and upriver passes lead to the Upper Cromel and to Eyre Creek.
