Getting there
|
A poled / marked trail leads from the tops southeast of Manson (1448m) to the biv. 4 hours from Rocks Ahead Hut, or 2 hours from (new) Manson Hut. To reach Old Manson Hut there's good going down the spur 1.5km west of the biv (other end of the saddle). A taped track then leads up the stream / ridge just upriver from Old Manson to reach the basin containing the historic hut. |
