Horseshoe Flats Hut

Horseshoe Flats Hut (6 bunks, fire, limited firewood) sits on marshy flats in the middle reaches of the Moeraki River valley.

Downriver is a swampy track through wet grassland and along crumbling river banks to Blowfly Hut on the Paringa Cattle Track. Upriver the valley slowly steepend and the track ford the river to the south bank before sidling to the valley head and Middle Head Hut. There's another crossing just before the hut.
